Blackmer Mouvex Technology
Eccentric Movement Pumps Blackmer's eccentric disc pump - Mouvex Technology, is used in an array of applications across the globe. It has many unique features giving it many advantages over competing pump lines. There are no mechanical seals thus eliminating leaks and reducing maintenance time. The eccentricLDF1 Pump disc pumps are direct coupled to the gear reduction unit or motor therefore eliminating the need for magnets. With its clean-in-place capability, flushing and cleaning take place without disassembly. With the recommendation of the EHEDG(European Hygenic Equipment Design Group) and a 3A approval certification the stainless steel models are ideal for sanitary applications.

The unique eccentric disc concept provides gentle handling and high-volume efficiency.  The following applications use the Mouvex technology eccentric disc design:

  • Chemicals
  • Food
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Cosmetics
  • Agrochemicals
  • Petrochemicals

  • C-Series Pumps The eccentric disc pumps – Mouvex technology are capable of handling fluids of kinetic viscosity of
3000 cst (14,000 ssu) inside the pump and working pressures of 5-9 Bar (72.5-130psi).  Flow rates range from 0.11 m3h (0.5 GPM) to 36 m3h (160 GPM).
Its construction consists of either stainless steel or ductile iron and is rated to 100 up to 150°C (212 up to 302 °F).  This technology provides extraordinary self priming and may run dry for a short period of time.  Additionally, eccentric disc pumps are very low shear for shear sensitive liquids such as sauces, silicon emulsions, cosmetics, food, etc.  Performance tests show shear rates lower than circumferential piston pumps, lobe and gear pumps.  The patented design provides unique parts and operating characteristics.
