Blackmer pumps are used around the world onboard both military and commercial marine vessels, as well as by ground forces, as they have been for nearly 100 years. Blackmer’s vane and centrifugal pumps handle the transfer, circulation, stripping, loading and unloading of a variety of fluids in military and marine applications. Materials handled include fuel, oil, AFFF concentrate, bilge water, JP-5, lube oil and wastewater. Blackmer pumps are also a vital component for aboard-ship firefighting. For land forces, Blackmer has developed skid-mounted and trailer-mounted refueling units for jet and ground-equipment refueling.
